Pakistan Cricket Board declared on 3 March that the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 6 has been postponed “with immediate effect” after seven people participating in the tournament tested positive for Covid-19. According to the PCB the consideration was made keeping in view the health of all participants
The tournament was started on 20 February and still 20 more match has to be played. But PCB concentrated on “safe and secure passage” for the participants and is set to arrange repeat PCR tests, vaccines, and isolation facilities for the six franchises.
However, the decision of PCB was very much appropriate and in the benefit of players and community too.
