Pakistan Beat West Indies and won the Series

Pakistan won the 5th one day by 4 wickets. Pakistani team’s splendid victory was as result of team efforts.  Pakistani captain Misbah-ul-Haq won the toss and elected to bowl first in  5th ODI against the West Indies at the Beausejour Stadium in Gros Islet, St Lucia. Match did stop for a  while due to Inclement weather delayed the start of play by 75 minutes, reducing the fixture to 49 overs per side. Pakistan picked up the championship  trophy . Notably, Pakistan won 7th series in continuation  from West Indies . President Zardar, Prime Minister Nawz Shreif  and Acting PCB President Najam Sethi appreciated the victory.

Pakistan has won the five-match series  by  3-1  whereas one match ended at tie. West Indies gave target of 242 runs that achieved Pakistan in the last over while making 243 runs.

 Misbah made excellent 63 runs and back to pavilion in the last over . He was declared man of the match award. He has also been declared Man of the Series too. He made 260 runs in the series.
