Pakistani President Visited Great Wall of China

BEIJING, Feb 19 Pakistani President Mamnoon Hussain today (Wednesday)visited the Great Wall of China. He also put his remarks in visiter’s book. it is one of the greatest wonders of the world that was listed as a World Heritage by UNESCO in 1987.

The President walked around different sections of the Wall and evinced keen interest in its architectural grandeur and historical significance.On the occasion the curator briefed the President about the historical significance and architecture of the Great wall, saying that so far 491 heads of states have visited the iconic structure.

 At this occasion President Mamnoon stated that the Great Wall is human miracle and it was his great pleasure and honour to visit this historic site and become part of a grand human experience.

The magnificent site, full of marvel and splendor speaks great culture and heritage of China, he continued.

I will always cherish the memories of visiting the Great Wall,the kind hospitality extended to me and my delegation by the Chinese hosts,    Pakistan’s Ambassador to China Masood Khalid, Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Sun Weidong and members of President’s delegation were present on the occasion.
