Will Israel Achieve the Objective ofGreater Israel?

America – The Guardian of Israel
The Middle East (ME) has remained engulfed in conflict since the Six-Day War of 1967. Any hope for peace in this volatile region remains elusive, largely due to the hegemonic ambitions of the United States and Israel. Far from being advocates of peace, both have acted as imperialist and war-mongering powers. The foreign policy of the United States, particularly concerning the ME, is heavily influenced—if not dictated—by the powerful Jewish lobby in Washington. Following the creation of Israel by the British in 1948, the US assumed the role of its principal protector and patron. It has since worked tirelessly to make Israel the dominant military power in the ME.
Strategic Objectives of the US, Israel, India
The US, having emerged as the sole superpower after dismantling the Soviet Union in 1991, has sought to retain its global hegemony by containing resurgent Russia and rising China. Concurrently, Israel is aggressively pursuing the establishment of a “Greater Israel”—a Zionist vision stretching from the Nile in Egypt to the Euphrates in Iraq. Another strategic partner of the duo, India, aspires for Akhand Bharat. Pakistan stands as the only stumbling bloc in the way of India’s aspirations; it has waged wars and conflicts to undo Pakistan. To achieve its objective, Israel has aimed to dismantle militarily or economically strong Muslim states in the region. Its first major success came during the 1967 war when it defeated a coalition of Arab armies and annexed the Golan Heights, West Bank, Gaza, and Sinai Peninsula.
Destabilization of Muslim States
Israel made significant inroads during the Obama administration. The 2011 Arab Spring—engineered through CIA and Mossad initiatives—targeted a pre-planned list of Muslim states, including Iraq, Syria, Libya, Sudan, Yemen, Somalia, and Lebanon. Iran was to be tackled later, followed ultimately by nuclear-armed Pakistan.
Under the pretext of spreading freedom and democracy, Western forces painted local rulers as tyrants and intervened militarily. Iraq was invaded in 2003; regime changes were orchestrated in Ethiopia and Egypt in 2011; and Libya and Syria were thrown into prolonged civil wars. NATO’s intervention in Libya led to Qaddafi’s assassination and the division of the country into rival factions. In Syria, groups like Al-Qaeda, the Nusra Front, Free Syrian Army, and ISIS received backing from the US, Turkey, and Gulf States to unseat President Bashar al-Assad. His survival hinged on Russian military intervention in 2015. Sudan was divided in 2011, and internal conflict still plagues both Sudan and South Sudan. The US and its NATO allies acted as the military enforcers, while Israel remained a strategic observer, reaping the benefits of the regional chaos.
Erosion of Resistance and the Abraham Accords
By the time the so-called “War on Terror” formally ended in 2021, Israel had achieved many of its objectives. The Abraham Accords of 2020 brought Gulf Arab States into alignment with Israeli interests. Egypt and Jordan had already been pacified through peace treaties. Only Iran remained as a serious obstacle in the path to Greater Israel—with Pakistan still seen as a long-term strategic threat.
Breaking Iran’s Defensive Arc . To neutralize Iran, Israel needed to dismantle its regional alliances and proxy forces. Hezbollah in Lebanon, Hamas in Gaza, the IRGC presence in Syria, and the Houthis in Yemen—all forming Iran’s strategic depth—were systematically targeted.
Commercial and Strategic Interests in Gaza
The coastal waters off Gaza are rich in hydrocarbons, making the region commercially valuable. Israel and its Western allies have plans to construct a canal parallel to the Suez Canal, connecting the Mediterranean with Gaza, along with an India-Europe trade corridor running through the region.
Systematic Isolation of Iran
Armed with overwhelming financial and military support from the US, UK, Germany, and France, Israel launched a genocidal war against Gaza beginning in October 2023. With Hamas under siege, efforts extended to weaken Hezbollah in Lebanon and IRGC-aligned militias in Syria. This collective pressure eroded Iran’s regional deterrence. By December 2024, the Assad regime in Syria was overthrown through a Western-backed insurgency led by Al-Qaeda affiliate Al-Sharaa Ahmed. Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) quickly expanded operations into southern Syria, competing with Turkey for influence, while violent clashes broke out in Sweida Province between Druze factions and Islamist groups.
Ceasefire Breached and Gaza Reinvaded
Israel violated a three-phase ceasefire agreement in November 2024 and resumed its onslaught in Gaza. With support from the Trump administration, the aim was ethnic cleansing—displacing 2.3 million Palestinians and annexing the West Bank outright.
Muted Response from the Arab League
Arab governments, including the GCC states, have largely turned a blind eye to Israel’s aggression, prioritizing regime survival. They fail to grasp that the vision of Greater Israel extends beyond Palestine into parts of Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Syria, and Iraq.
Direct Assault on Iran
Emboldened by its gains, Israel moved to confront Iran head-on. On 13 June 2025, following a year of covert Mossad operations within Iran, targeted strikes eliminated key IRGC officers, political leaders, and nuclear scientists. The Israeli Air Force then launched a series of aerial raids that devastated major Iranian cities. Iran’s air defences were restored within 18 hours, allowing for retaliatory missile strikes. Iran’s hypersonic and ballistic missiles pierced through the Iron Dome and US-deployed THAAD systems, hitting strategic military targets in northern and central Israel.
US Joins the War
At Netanyahu’s request, US B-52 bombers attacked Iran’s nuclear facilities at Natanz, Fordow, and Isfahan. The US claimed these sites were destroyed, but Iran insisted the damage was superficial, with its enriched uranium already moved to safety. Iran counterattacked US bases in Iraq and Qatar, though these strikes caused minimal damage due to prior evacuation. Iran has since announced the resumption of its nuclear enrichment program, reportedly with Russian support. Both Russia and China have pledged to modernize Iran’s air force.
Frustrated Ambitions and Tactical Failures
Despite over a year and nine months of brutal warfare in Gaza, Israel has failed to achieve its objectives:
• Hamas remains operational despite severe leadership losses.
• Israeli hostages remain in captivity.
• The Palestinian population has not been broken nor displaced.
• Iran’s missile retaliation inflicted significant damage on Israel’s military infrastructure.
• US B-52 bombers failed to destroy Iran’s underground nuclear sites.
Humanitarian Crisis and Atrocities in Gaza
Over 60,000 Palestinians—mostly women and children—have been killed. The remaining population suffers from famine, disease, and total collapse of healthcare. Israeli snipers have been documented shooting civilians lured to food distribution centers. Makeshift camps now house the malnourished survivors, yet essential supplies remain blocked. Trump’s proposal to relocate Gazans to enable reconstruction and commercial tourism in Gaza has been widely condemned.
Shattering the Myths
The Gaza war shattered the myth of Israeli military invincibility. Hamas’s resilience and Iran’s effective retaliation revealed the vulnerabilities of the IDF and Israel’s air defences. The US-Israel-India axis suffered a setback following India’s humiliating defeat in a four-day conflict in which Israel was a partner. It raised the stature of Pakistan and lowered India’s stature. India’s self-created notion of being the strongest conventional military power and technologically most superior in South Asia were also blown apart.
Unanswered Questions and Looming Threats. The second half of 2025 remains uncertain:
• Will Gazans be expelled, and if so, to where?
• If Palestinians resist displacement, will genocide continue unchecked?
• Will Israel turn Gaza and the West Bank into military colonies?
• Will a two-state solution ever materialize?
• Will the Arab League continue its passive stance as Israel expands?
• Could Iran’s confrontation with the US escalate into full-scale war?
• Will Russia and China intervene more assertively in the ME?
• Is Pakistan the next target on the US-Israel-India radar?
• Will India launch another war against Pakistan, or confine itself to proxy war?
• Will the USA prefer Pakistan over India under the changed global scenario, and will Pakistan be able to adopt a balanced approach to keep all content, and draw benefits from the US, China and Russia?
• Will Iran distance itself from India and veer towards Pakistan?
• Could the Middle East or South Asia ignite World War III?
• Will the US-Israel-India axis overcome internal turmoil and pursue peace, or will the Global South, led by China and Russia, reshape the world order?
These questions arise from the reckless unpredictability of leaders like Trump, Netanyahu, and Modi—who seem committed to war rather than peace. Will Israel Achieve Objective of Greater Israel?

America is Guardian of Israel
It becomes crystal clear that all those chanting slogans of peace in the Middle East (ME), which is on fire since the six-day Arab Israeli war in 1967, are flying kites in the air and chasing rainbows. The US and Israel are imperialist and war mongering states and are anti-peace. The foreign policy of the US is dictated by Israel through the Jewish lobby in the USA.
After the British created Israel in 1948 in Palestine, the US took over the responsibility of protecting and strengthening Israel and making it the strongest power in the ME.
Ambitions of the US-Israel
The US became the sole super power after cutting the USSR to size in 1991 and is striving to retain its global hegemony. It is trying to contain its chief rivals rising China and re-emerged Russia. Israel is striving to create Greater Israel, stretching from Nile in Egypt to Euphrates in Iraq.
For the accomplishment of its ambition, Israel wanted to destroy all the militarily or economically stronger States in the ME. It achieved a portion of its objectives in the 1967 war by defeating the combined armies of all the Arab States, and annexing Golan heights, West Bank, Gaza and Sinai.
Emasculation of Muslim States
Israel advanced its interests during the rule of Obama, who initiated the Arab Spring in 2011 spearheaded by the CIA and Mossad. The list of target countries which were to be destroyed had already been prepared in 2001, which included Iraq, Syria, Libya, Sudan, Yemen, Somalia and Lebanon. Iran was to be dealt with at a later date, followed by Pakistan.
Like in Afghanistan, the western invaders recited the slogans of freedom and liberty. The rulers were presented as monsters, who had denied their people basic human rights. They promised to liberate the people and to introduce American model democracy.
Iraq was destroyed and occupied in 2003, regimes were changed in Ethiopia and Egypt through covert operations in 2011, civil wars were brewed up in Syria and Libya in 2011, and the latter attacked and occupied by NATO.
Qaddafi was killed and the country is operating from two capitals, and is still engulfed in a civil war. In Syria, Al-Qaeda, Nusra Front, Free Syria Defence Forces and ISIS were backed by the US, Turkey, and the Arab States to bring down the Alawite regime of Bashar el-Assad, whose writ was consigned to the coastal belt and Damascus. It survived due to the intervention of Russian airpower in 2015.
After the regime change in Sudan, it was bisected and South Sudan made independent in 2015. Later on, another war between the Sudanese Army and the paramilitary forces was triggered which is still raging.
One country at a time was dealt with and for each invasion, support of other Arab countries was enlisted. The US and NATO forces did the destructive work, while Israel watched the destruction and massacre of Muslims from the sidelines.
By the time the war on terror ended in 2021, much of Israeli objectives had been achieved. The Arab Gulf States were brought in line through the Abraham Accord brokered by the US in 2020. Egypt and Jordan had already been quietened through peace agreements with Israel. Iran was the only obstacle in the ME, which had to be neutralised and nuclear Pakistan was the last target for neutralisation.
Iran’s Defensive Arc
To tackle Iran, its forward defensive arc formed by Hezbollah in Lebanon threatening western flank of Israel, Hamas in Gaza threatening its eastern flank, IRGC and Hezbollah in Syria posing a threat in its South, and Houthis in Yemen sitting on the vital choke points of Red Sea and Bab al-Mandab had to be pulverised.
Israel’s Commercial Interests in Gaza
The sea coastline of Gaza enclave rich in oil and minerals is commercially important to Israel and its western patrons. Work on a canal parallel to the Suez Canal has started, which will connect eastern Mediterranean with Gaza. A commercial corridor connecting India with Europe through Gaza has also been planned.
Enervation of Iran’s Perimeter of Security
With massive financial and military support from the US, the UK, Germany and France, it became easier for Netanyahu to destroy Hamas and to reduce Gaza into a rubble through massive bombing, and now into a mass grave through genocidal war and starvation. PLO in West Bank (WB), Hezbollah in Lebanon and a mix of Hezbollah and IRGC commanders in Syria were also enervated. It made Syria and Iran highly vulnerable.
Toppling of Assad Regime
After sufficiently weakening the perimeter of security of Iran, it became easy to topple the Assad regime with the help of the Al-Qaeda branch led by Al-Sharaa Ahmed, and fully backed by western powers in Dec 2024. Soon after, IDF expanded its outreach from Golan heights towards the Syrian border, and the defence infrastructure of Syria was destroyed. Israel is now competing with Turkey for dominance in Syria. Fighting is going in the Sweda province between the Druze and Islamists as well as the government forces.
Revocation of Ceasefire by Israel
After breaking the three-phased ceasefire agreement in Nov 2024 even before fully implementing the phase-1, Israel backed by the Trump administration once again embarked upon its slaughter campaign in order to push out 2.3 million Palestinians from the Gaza enclave. It also declared its intentions to annex WB and made part of Israel.

Impotent Response of Arab League
For all practical purposes, the Arab League including GCC States have given up Gaza and WB for the sake of its own survival, not realising that Greater Israel includes the whole of Palestine, and parts of Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Syria and Iraq.
Israel’s Unprovoked Attacks against Iran
Emboldened Israel found itself closer to its goal of Greater Israel with Jerusalem as its capital, al Aqsa Mosque demolished and the new Judaist tomb built next to it. It considered the time ripe to get rid of the last obstacle in its way. At the behest of Israel, Iran was warned by the USA to roll back its nuclear and missile programs, or else be prepared for a severe punitive action by the US and Israel.
When Iran didn’t budge, Israel initially undertook a covert operation with the help of the Mossad espionage network that had been deployed a year earlier and missiles and drones mounted on trucks were moved inside Iran. The entire military leadership, political leaders and nuclear scientists were kept under constant watch and targeted on the morning of 13 June 2025.
Soon after eliminating a large number of senior military and IRGC officers and scientists, and destroying the whole air defence system, the Israeli air force launched aerial attacks for further destruction of major cities including Tehran.
Iran’s Response
It took Iran 18 hours to make the disabled air defence operational, after which it launched retaliatory missile and drone strikes. A sizable number of ballistic missiles including hyper sonics were able to penetrate the impenetrable multiplayer Iron Dome, further beefed up with the American THAAD air defence system, and struck military targets in northern and central Israel.
American Attack on Iran’s Nuclear Plants
On the request of Netanyahu, the USA joined the war and bombed Iran’s three nuclear sites – Natanz, Fordow and Isfahan – with B-52 bombers and claimed that all the nuclear plants were comprehensively destroyed. Iran rejected the claim, asserting that only the ground structure was damaged while the structure beneath the ground level was intact and that the enriched uranium had been shifted to safer places well before the attacks.
Iran’s Retaliation and Claims
Iran retaliated by attacking the US air bases in Qatar, Iraq, but no human losses or significant material damage took place since Iran had informed about his plan and the US shifted its assets and soldiers to Saudi airbase.
Iran is claiming that it has restarted its enrichment program despite talks with the European team and expressed its resolve to build a nuclear bomb. Russia which had laid the foundations of a peaceful nuclear program in Iran in the 1980s is probably helping Iran to accomplish its objective.
Both Russia and China have expressed their readiness to strengthen Iran’s air force, which in present shape is of no match to Israeli airpower.
In the wake of these developments, Israel and the USA are contemplating another offensive against Iran, and the latter is ready for it.
Israel Giving Vent to its Failings
Despite its destructive war in Gaza spread over one year and nine months, Israel couldn’t achieve any of its military objectives. Hamas couldn’t be eliminated and their resistance is continuing despite loss of their first-tier leaders. Israeli hostages couldn’t be recovered. Israel couldn’t breakdown 2.3 million marooned Gazans nor they could be pushed out of the enclave, or create a wedge between the people and Hamas.
Likewise, Israel has been unable to achieve its objectives of regime change and destruction of nuclear facilities in Iran. Israel is venting its frustration and anger over the hapless people of Gaza where its genocidal war is raging since Oct 2023.
After slaughtering 60,000 people, mostly women and children, Israel has subjected the marooned people to starvation, deprivation of food, medicine and healthcare. The hungry people are lured towards the food distribution points where the already deployed snipers shoot them.
Donald Trump floated the idea of shifting Gazans from the enclave elsewhere to enable the US contractors to rebuild Gaza and convert it into a coastal tourist resort. The idea has been resisted by all and sundry.
Israel is now building makeshift temporary camps and is herding the starved, malnourished Palestinians to these tents, but is still blocking food, water, medicines and healthcare supplies.
Myths Punctured
Hamas in Gaza and Iran broke the myth of invincibility of IDF and myth of impregnability of Israel’s air defence. IDF haven’t been able to physically occupy Gaza Strip; its military power couldn’t subdue Iran; and Iran’s missiles caused significant damage to the military structure of Israel. The US B-52 stealth bombers couldn’t destroy the three nuclear facilities of Iran.
India’s Defeat a Set-back
India’s defeat at the hands of India in the 4-day conflict in which Israel was a partner of India, was a big setback for both the strategic partners.
Lurking fears and Questions
What will happen in second half of 2025? Will the Gazans be expelled from Gaza, and if so, where will they be settled? If Hamas and the Palestinians refuse to migrate as they have indicated, then what? Will their genocide continue unabated till all of them are slaughtered?
Will Gaza and WB become the military colonies of Israel, or Israel will agree to two-state solution, or Israel will accomplish its ultimate objective of Greater Israel?
Will the leaders of the Arab League remain spectators to this most gruesome and inhuman spectacle, particularly after the freezing of accounts of the Arab billionaires in the US banks; or will the Muslim Ummah come out of apathy and decide to put up collective resistance?
Will there be an open clash between the US and Iran, and will China and Russia remain out of the ME imbroglio?
Will Nuclear Pakistan be the next target of the US after Iran?
Will ME or South Asia become a flashpoint to trigger 3rd world war?
Will the US, Israel and India governed by Brahminic mindset be able to overcome their internal disorders and frailties, and change their war mongering posture to peace and amity; or, will China, Russia together with Global South succeed in changing the World Order?
These are the lurking questions and fears being expressed because of the unpredictable and reckless nature of Trump and the madness of Netanyahu and Modi.
