Kashmiris protesters raised Pakistan Flags in Srinagar

kashmir-pakistaniflag-protest-indianarmy-protest_8-10-2013_113065_l SRINAGAR:  Many Kashmirs  in Indian held  Kashmir protested against the continued Indian occupation . They  hoisted the Pakistan flag in the city , Staff  reported.

 Indefinite curfew has been clamped in several areas of occupied Kashmir in a bid to suppress and gag the voices of the struggling Kashmiris for freedom from Indian occupancy.

 Hundreds of Kashmiri’s on Friday after Eid prayers came out on the streets of Srinagar raising Pakistani flags in their hands and voicing slogans seeking freedom from the Indian occupation of the valley. The demonstrators hurled stones at Indian security forces, injuring twenty, while the army resorted to firing and tear-gassing, which injured several of the demonstrators.

 The spate of demonstrations soon spread to other areas. In the district of Kashtawar, armed men from one community assaulted peaceful demonstrators killing one person and injuring several others.

Following this incident, Hurriyat leader has given a call for strike in the valley, while the occupied administration fearing large-scale demonstrations have detained most of the Hurriyat leaders and senior workers, who were not even allowed to offer Eid prayers.
