Pakistan Lost in first T20 International with New Zealand

After getting through Covid-19 Green cap lost its first T20 international   by five wickets played at Auckland’s Eden Park on December 18, 2020 . Pakistan , after winning the toss decided to bat first , had managed to touch 154 in 20 overs.

The Black Caps completed their target of 156 for five with seven balls against 154. Though Tim Seifert . However, Shadab Khan of tourist’s side declared the best player of the match.

Tim  top-scored for the hosts with 57, while debutant paceman Jacob Duffy took four for 33. He was also named the man of the match.

Pakistan  top order terribly failed in  due to slow start , however , captain Shadab Khan. Haris Rauf, Wasim Ashraf  and Shaheen Afridi played well . Abdullah Shafique, Haider Ali, Muhammad Hafeez and Muhammad Rizwan  back to pavilion – in the first five overs with just 20 runs on the board.

Pakistan is fourth in the world T20 rankings and New Zealand is  sixth.
