Peshawar: Blast in Bus near Sunehri Mosque
Terrorists blasted bus carrying employees of KPK secretariat early in the morning. According to the news three government officials killed and many injured. The exact nature of attack has into yet been ascertained. At least three persons are feared dead and over 10 injured. The bus was carrying over 40 government officials from Mardan. Rescue operations in under its way. The elements of security agencies cordoned off the area.
Eye Witnesses said that as the bus approached Sunehri Road a loud blast was heard. “The blast occurred inside the bus,” an eye witness said.
Similar natures of attacks have been carried out against military accounts, PAF and civil secretariat persons also. In 2013 a similar bus attack in Peshawar killed 19 and injured 44 officials of the Civil Secretariat.
TTP in collaboration with RAW is involved in fomenting militancy against Pakistan. The current wave of terrorism has been started when , MQM rebels group heading by former Karachi mayor Mustafa Kamal of Karachi have opened their guns towards Mr. Altaf Hussain while claiming that MQM Indian prime agency is supporting MQM against Pakistan .
Although since inception of war against terrorism Pakistan is facing major brunt of militancy but due to efforts of security agencies and nation’s determination, glaring declines in incidents has been noticed. According to STAP reports “Pakistan witnessed a decrease of 34 percent in terrorism activities during the year 2015 as compared to 2014. Official sources reveal that terrorism reduced from 5,496 in 2014 to 3,625 in 2015. In 2016 terrorism activities in Charsada , Mardan and now in Peshawar have been noticed . Still these 80 percent decline in terror acts and extremism by breaking network of terrorists in FATA, Karachi and Balochistan after developing much needed consensus among the political parties. In fact these achievements are due to the fact that all political forces clustered around National Action Plan (NAP) to take it to logical conclusion. The nation is convinces that NAP has also brought relief to the nation as the country has witnessed overall decline in heinous offences.
