Kashmir.Foundation Call to Hashtag #UN70 to reach United Nations

Brussels: On the occasion of 70th anniversary of United Nations Kashmir.Foundation director Abdul Latif Bhat has appealed Kashmiris and supporters of Kashmir worldwide to hashtag their voices on UN created hashtag #UN70 against the Indian oppression and occupation.

Kashmir.Foundation director said that hashtag is powerful cyber media tool and (#) hashtag posts are closely monitored by the respective organisations worldwide. He said India has turned the disputed state into a prison as a result human rights violations are less reaching to outside world.

He advised the people to create hashtags and post content in form of images, videos , news links and text on facebook and twitter etc like:

“We the people of Jammu & Kashmir want freedom from Indian occupation. #UN70#Kashmir,”

“We are crying for help to send the UN peace-keeping forces in disputed state of Jammu & Kashmir occupied by India.#UN70#Kashmir,”

“We want the implementation of UN resolutions on Kashmir. #UN70#Kashmir,”

“We want UN intervention in the dispute of Jammu & Kashmir.
#UN70#Kashmir,”

“We demand UN to conduct an impartial plebiscite in disputed state of Jammu & Kashmir. #UN70#Kashmir,”

Kashmir.Foundation director has appealed the people of Kashmir to understand the importance of this day.

United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon has already announced to start the global celebration of the 70th anniversary of the United Nations, which will aim to honour the historic breadth of the Organization’s development, security and human rights work, and ultimately, unite the international community in common cause to enable a strong UN to realize a better world.

Mr. Ban has noted that on this day, 69 years ago, the UN Charter was signed in San Francisco. Over the next 16 months, the Organization will commemorate the 70th anniversary of the UN’s founding in 1945. Of the 51 original members of the UN, only four were from Africa.
